Small Halter without rings Zilco

This model of small halter or noseband is designed to fit more or less firmly around the horse's nose, but not so much as to interfere with the horse's breathing or the action of the bit.

Its use is to help keep the horse's mouth closed and in contact with the bit, but it is much less restrictive than some other designs.
